The Iowa football team finished the regular season 8-4, which means like that means a few players will likely be receiving awards. Here’s who.

Whenever a team finishes in the top half of the Big Ten, they are likely going to have a few guys up for All-Conference awards. In the Iowa football team’s case, there are a number of guys who will likely see their name listed on the 2018 Big Ten All-Conference team. Additionally, there is one guy who may see himself be named an All-American and possibly bring home some additional hardware for being the top player at his position.

So while Iowa’s overall record may not be what Hawkeye fans were expecting, this is a team with a plethora of talent that could and should be recognized by coaches and media.

On the next three slides we will walk you through Iowa’s candidate for one of college football’s most prestigious position-specific award, Iowa’s likely lone candidate to be named an All-American, and which players have a good chance of being named to the Big Ten All-Conference after their outstanding performances  this season.

Let’s start with the major award finalist.
