The increase in ranking comes after Iowa’s debut in the poll at number 19 last week. They are joined by fellow Big Ten teams Michigan (5), Ohio St. (11), Penn St. (17), and Wisconsin (20).
Iowa was also ranked at number 18 in the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll, up from number 22 in the previous week’s ranking.
